We’ve had a pretty rubbish 24 hours.
Joe has had food poisoning, I’ve got painful sunburn (my own fault but I’m still feeling sorry for myself), and to top it all off, we’ve lost our beloved GoPro.
Somehow, between our last night in Cusco, our Rainbow Mountain trek, and our travel to Puno, our GoPro has gone missing.
To say we’re gutted is an understatement. However, what is done is done and thankfully we haven’t lost too many photos and videos – we swapped memory cards a couple of days earlier so all we’ve lost are some photos of our Inka Jungle Trek and Machu Picchu. Someone must have been watching out for us!
As an obituary to our lost GoPro (which we’ve only had for about 8 months) we wanted to share some of our favourite photos so that our dear GoPro’s memory can live on!
We had an awesome week in beautiful Iceland, visiting Secret Lagoon, Skogafoss waterfall, seeing Icelandic horses and more.
We went to Brazil for my brother’s wedding and we loved it! These photos are of the beautiful Ouro Preto in the state of Minas Gerais and our amazing view of Rio de Janeiro from our hotel in Botofogo.
No explanation needed – such a wonderful and fun day!
Peak District, England
Before our big trip to South America we had a mini-moon in the Peak District. Our yurt had a wood-fired hot tub which was just amazing. We also visited Stanage Edge, made famous in the TV series and film of Pride and Prejudice.
Our last few photos before we lost the GoPro – sandboarding in Huacachina and our incredible Nazca Lines flight.
